About Hunch
An independent UK gift finder, launched in 2026.
Buying presents is hard. You know the person, but the shops don't, so you end up scrolling endless “gifts for him” lists and settling for socks.
Hunch flips that around. You tell our gift hound a few things about the person you're buying for, play a quick round of this-or-that, and swipe through ideas picked for them. You end up with a short list of gifts that make them say OH YES, and a link to buy each one from a UK retailer.
We also write gift guides for the people who are hardest to buy for, from cyclists and coffee lovers to the dad who has everything.
How the hound picks gifts
We start with the person, not the product
You tell us what they're into and what they're like. Every suggestion has to have a reason, like "because he's always cold", or it doesn't make the cut.
We only show things worth giving
Refills, spare parts and things that need exact sizes get filtered out. We favour gifts people wouldn't buy for themselves.
Your swipes steer the search
Each swipe teaches the hound what lands and what doesn't, so the next ideas get sharper. Nothing you type about the person is stored on our servers.
Money never decides the picks
We earn a small commission when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Picks are ranked on fit, not on what pays us most.
Who we work with
We link to UK retailers through affiliate programmes, including Awin and Amazon Associates. Prices and availability are set by the retailer, and you always buy directly from them. Read our affiliate disclosure for the details.
